This accessibility statement applies to the www.saghysat.hu website and its subpages operated by Sághy-Sat Kft..

Published pursuant to Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act), Hungarian Act XVII of 2022 on accessibility requirements for products and services (Aktv.), and Government Decree 605/2022 (XII. 28.) on its implementation (Aktv. Vhr.).

Service description

The website provides information about cable television, internet and telephony services, online package configuration, contact and order forms, invoice requests, and other customer self-service functions.

Our commitment

Sághy-Sat Kft. is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA and EN 301 549.

The website is designed so that information and functions are perceivable, operable, understandable and robust for people with disabilities.

Technical standards

Accessibility requirements are based on harmonised standard EN 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

Conformance status

This website partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. The pages and functions we operate ourselves are built to meet these requirements; we continuously improve accessibility based on user feedback and periodic reviews.

Partial conformance is declared mainly because some content and functions are provided on external, third-party pages or through third-party services. Their accessibility is governed by the providers' own policies, technical standards and practices — not by Sághy-Sat Kft.. These limitations are described in the following section.

Assessment method

Conformance is evaluated through self-assessment and periodic testing, including automated checks (e.g. Lighthouse, axe) and manual testing with keyboard navigation and screen readers. This statement is reviewed at least once a year and when significant changes are made to the website.

Compatible environment

The website is intended to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari) and common assistive technologies (e.g. NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver).

Measures taken

  • Semantic HTML structure with landmarks (main navigation, main content, footer)
  • Skip link to main content
  • Keyboard operability for navigation, language selection and forms
  • Visible focus indicators for keyboard users
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images
  • Form labels linked to fields and error messages announced to assistive technologies
  • Form error summaries with logical focus order on validation failure
  • Live regions for dynamic announcements (forms, package wizard, system messages, carousel)
  • Cookie consent bar and settings dialog operable by keyboard and screen readers, with focus management
  • Mobile navigation with keyboard focus trap and Escape to close
  • Package wizard and multi-step selections operable by keyboard and screen readers
  • Multilingual content with correct language attributes
  • Sufficient colour contrast and responsive layout for magnification and small screens

Non-accessible content and known limitations

The main reasons why full conformance cannot be declared are external third-party pages and services outside our direct control. Below we list each known limitation with its reason and an alternative where available.

  • PDF documents — We currently publish no scanned or otherwise screen-reader-inaccessible PDF files on this website. The probability that such a document will be uploaded in the future is very low, but cannot be entirely ruled out. Alternative: contact us and we will provide the information in an accessible format where possible.
  • Online payment (SimplePay) — Third-party payment pages (SimplePay) are operated and governed by the provider; their accessibility standards and policies are set by SimplePay, not by us. Reason: payment runs on a separate domain outside our direct control. Alternative: use another payment channel offered by us, or contact customer service.
  • Cookie-dependent functions — The package wizard, contact and order forms, and the Turnstile security check require full cookie consent in the cookie bar, including third-party cookies for fonts and Turnstile. Reason: session, security and third-party services require consent under our privacy design. Alternative: contact us by phone or e-mail.
  • Third-party services (fonts, CAPTCHA) — Google Fonts and Cloudflare Turnstile load only after third-party cookies are accepted; their accessibility is governed by the providers' own policies and technical implementation, not by us. Reason: external services operated on third-party infrastructure outside our direct control. Alternative: contact us by phone or e-mail.
